Propolis kan bekæmpe candida-svamp
|
 Propolis har ved reagensglasforsøg vist sig at have betydelig antimikrobiel aktivitet mod Candida albicans samt en evne til at øge virkningen af konventionelle svampedræbende midler. Stoffets celledræbende virkning på C. albicans samt dets immunstyrkende virkning gør propolis til et vigtigt led i behandlingen af kronisk candidiasis.
